thanks for the birthday greetings - had bit a of busy time and through various factors it's gone top of the worst birthday list. But feels good to know my BW buddies sent positive thoughts my way (shame certain people in stoke on trent and the auction house i had a job interview with the day before didn't feel the same). Anyways, Rhian and I are off to London next week for a few days to cause some chaos so that'll make up for the curse of friday the 13th hitting my birthday so hard (normally if it lands in November i don't get affected). which reminds me did i lend anyone here an oyster card? nope, ok must be hiding with my railcard and passport....

Oh, sorry to hear your birthday was a bit pants! I know what you mean about Friday 13th - had a pretty crap time myself that day this year... and I'm not even superstitious! Have a great time in London though - what you got planned?

Didn't mean to moan too much, bizarrely think i'm still sulking about the job interview more than split shift on my birthday. There's letting you know promptly and then there's still being on the motorway when they send the rejection email!
We've booked tickets for 5 plays in 5 days and hope to squeeze a couple more in - we've got no plans for monday yet! plus do a couple of art galleries. Although i think Rhi will only let me in an art gallery if i give her all my money before i go near the books in the shop (might have something to do with me blowing hundred quid on art books last time we went to London for a decent stretch of time!)

oh yeah there were a few pubs and bars too, that goes without saying.
BTW National Portrait Gallery has a BEAUTIFUL photo exhibition on at the moment full of wonderful images from the 60s mainly of singers from that time.
