Hmmm, good question - I'd go for All I've Got To Do as John's vocal is just fantastic!

Cry Baby Cry. Even John didn't rate it but it's a great song. Saying that John didn't rate a lot of his songs.

That's one of my all-time favourites! Yeah, he disliked his own voice on a lot of tracks for some reason, and even said he'd love to re-record the vocals of many of his songs. John also didn't like another of my favourites It's Only Love, of which he found the lyrics embarrassing.

John also didn't like another of my favourites It's Only Love, of which he found the lyrics embarrassing. George Martin often quotes a conversation he had with Lennon well after The Beatles split up in which Lennon stated he would like to re-record absolutely everything The Beatles ever did (including Strawbwerry Fields) as he thought they were not very well recorded in the first place! Can you imagine how George Martin must have felt. I'm sure George was very tempted to knock John's glasses off!

Martha My Dear.
Of course, at the time the white album came out, I was playing in a lot of brass sextets and quintets, and there was a brass quintet on the recording. But I still think it's a great song.
But Cry Baby Cry was also a good call. If I were to nominate others, they would probably be from the white album.

I Call Your Name.- love John 's voice on this one.
I recall Ringo contributing this song to the John Lennon tribute concert many years ago. Sounded great then, sounds great now on Past Masters One.
Also agree with The End - "Its Only Love"

My picks are two by George. I love "Long, Long, Long" because of George's soft, whispery vocals. It showed that he really had a unique way with a ballad. And "Old Brown Shoe" just rocks. It's one of my favorites.

I think maybe "Rain" and "Baby You're a Rich Man". Perhaps they've alway been overlooked to some extent because they were only B sides. Still cracking tunes though!!!

Upon hearing some new songs from getting the remasters (i saved up frmo hearing alot of songs so i hear new ones when i get the remasters) 'And You Bird Can Sing' 'The End' and 'Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight' and 'Norwegian Wood' are pretty overlooked.
