My dream come true was Wings Over America, 1976. My friend and I cut class to go to, I think, Long Island. Woo-hooo! He's up in Dallas this year, but it's a bit far, and tix will probably be a bit too expensive. Like John said in R#9: "They got a little bit older and a little bit slower ..."

I've seen Paul a few times - the first on the New world Tour I think, many years ago it seems... ah, those were the days! Then more recently at the roundhouse in Camden, which was amazing to see him in such a small venue.

I've seen Paul live twice, 31 years apart. The first time was in 1976 during the Wings Over America tour. I saw one of the Forum shows in So. Cal. The second time was in June of 2007 at Amoeba Records in Hollywood. To see him in such an intimate setting (for free, no less) was truly a dream come true.

I was fortunate enough to catch him on 2 June 1993 at County Stadium in Milwaukee. He surprised the crowd that night. His white grand piano was brought out toward the end of the concert. He sat down in front of it and said "Here's the song I'm sure everyone is waiting for." Everyone started screaming for Hey Jude. He looked down at the keys, placed his hands on the keys and started playing/singing... On Wisconsin! This was of course followed by Hey Jude. A great show.

Saw Paul 4 times on the Back in the World tour in 2003 then at Live 8 in 2005 (tho as so far from the stage i was probably in a different postal district i don't tend to count that!). But those gigs in 2003 will always stay with me, there was something special about all of them. Tho i guess being stood in the second row at the the Liverpool gig just in front of Brian has to rank pretty high.

2 shows in Sydney in 1993. In the 2nd show, he had a bagpipe band enter the stage in full tartan outfits, and they did "Mull Of Kintyre". Paul looked so relaxed back then, really enjoying himself. Unforgettable moments, fantastic shows.

ME! ME! I have! I saw him at the 02 on the 22nd December.
Okay..... HE - WAS - INCREDIBLE.
I don't feel I should say much because I can NEVER do him justice, but.... WOW.
He really BLEW THE ROOF off the 02 Arena and I've never heard anybody sing so welll!!!! Me and my friend are 17, we were screaming and crying for a very long time. And as well as perfoming the greatest songs in music history to perfection, he was SO sweet and funny in between songs. I just don't really know how to word it, because I've never seen anything like it, and of course there is nobody to compare Paul McCartney to. But if anybody here has never seen him, YOU MUST!
On the radio they called it a "life-changing experience". I agree. You can't stand with that many people singing "Hey Jude" and "Give Peace and Chance" and not gain a new perception.
He's truely amazing. And SO MUCH ENERGY! I was aching all over by the end, couldn't hold my arms up any more and screwed up my voice box!! But he looked as if he could keep going all night!! PLEASE go and see Paul, you HAVE to. You'll never forget it.
And still, I'm not getting across how impressive he was. He's definitley a true one-off. And the reaction he can get from his audience is unprecedented
