Ringo Starr is set to join his Beatles bandmate Sir Paul McCartney in the studio - to record an all-star collaboration with music legend Bob Dylan, according to a newspaper. Reports last month claimed McCartney and Dylan are planning to record a duet this summer after both previously expressed a desire to work together.
And now McCartney's former Beatles bandmate Starr reportedly wants to join the pair's new musical venture.
A source tells the Daily Express newspaper, "Ringo is mainly based in Los Angeles, close to where both Paul and Bob also have homes. The word is Ringo is likely to play drums on a couple of tracks once Paul and Bob have put some songs together."
McCartney and Starr performed together for the first time this century at the Change Begins Within concert in New York in April - and reunited again on Monday to promote the upcoming The Beatles: Rock Band videogame

It's just a rumour and most probably not true.

Accurate journalism as ever, makes me really believe the story, which is a shame as it is kinda cool.
