Hi, In reply to your questions : 1. Beatles Story It is £12.25 for Adults, £6.35 for Children (5-16 years) and £8.30 for Concessions. Under 5 yrs. are free. 2. Magical Mystery Tour You will not be able to buy tickets from the Museum but there are quite a few ticket outlets around : a) 08 Place, Whitechapel (on way from Lime Street to Albert Dock). Tourist Information Centre, also selling Beatle related articles like T-shirts, keyrings, etc. b) Beatles Information Centre (part of A Hard Day's Night Hotel; also on way to Albert Dock). Hotel is a must to see; the Information Centre is at the corner of Mathew Street/North John Street); also selling Beatle stuff. c) Albert Dock Visitor Information Centre; near the Beatles Story Museum d) The Beatles Shop, Mathew Street (a must also) e) From Me To You, Cavern Walks (also selling Beatle related articles). Tours start from more or less outside the museum.
Please see also The Beatles Story (for museum) and Cavern Club (for Magical Mystery Tour) websites.
From your post, I assume this will be your first time in Liverpool. Must-do's include a visit to Mathew Street with the Cavern Club, Cavern Pub, The Grapes and the Beatles Shop. Round the corner is the A Hard Days Night Hotel (see above). If you're only here for one day, this is probably all you will have time for. Otherwise, there is LIPA on Hope Street, the Jacaranda on Slater Street, the Blue Angel on Seel Street (closed during the day), etc. etc.
Anyway, wish you loads of fun here in Liverpool!

I can't answer any of your questions as I've never been to Liverpool (someday....!) but I hope you have a great time.

Don´t forget to visit The Jacaranda! In my humble opinion the most authentic Beatle place...and where I want my ashes to be spraid!
Have a nice weekend!
