Has anyone seen The Beatles Thirty Days DVD based on the Let It Be sessions? It was bought for me. I sat down to watch it the other night only to find it was a DVD rom.

Hi there! , Yes , i aquired my copy very recently and was delighted with the hi fi quality and the highlights presented from those monster sessions of winter ,69. preferable i would say , personaly, to the mamoth task of wading through some 80 plus hours or so , is it ? of every titbit recorded over that January . Value for money aswell , as to purchase 17 cds individualy would have cost a few bob and i think might have delayed somewhat my eventual purchase of a package which for me encapsulates succinctly the vibe and feel musicaly speaking, of where the lads were at at that late juncture in their career . Bickering aside , these sessions to my mind also show uneqiuvicably that when push came to shovel , these lads were still writing and performing the best music around ,despite their differences the music took presidence , vocally they never sounded better and the endless hours of repetition of the material that made the final album cut as well as being performed live in the rooftop concert ,really did pay off !! I must say the Let it be album gets played more than most on my cd player !! Essential addition

Yes that's it. Great set. Obviously a lot of songs repeated but that's what makes it so good - all the different takes (Lennon singing Get Back and McCartney doing Back Seat Of My Car for example). Highly recommended.

You do mean CD's, not DVD's, don't you?

The version I have is all on a single DVD rom. It is advertised as a DVD but it's only audio.

A dvd has more space... So it was obviously put on a dvd to save a large amount of cd's!
