I posted a basic version of Something off of YouTube. After the song is a little jam, based off a repeated piano riff. That same piano line is used in Lennon's song "Remember". Do you think that is John on piano (or on one of the pianos - sounds like more than one piano track) in that jam?
As it says on the start of the track, "eight track to eight track". so i think it has multiple keyboards on it. But I too would like to see any list of who played what in that session.

I think details like this are impossible to know. Unless someone knows something special about that day, or has recorded outtakes with clues?

Credits say that not John Lennon but George Harrison is on organ. I know, it's not piano, but he might have worked the song out on piano somewhat. Assuming that George was on piano....

Where/what are these "credits" that tell you who played what?

I haven't checked to see if Something was tried out during the Get Back sessions, but if it was, and it was in the later stages, it would be 8 track, and that could be Billy Preston on piano/organ.

I've done a bit of research on this one.
This version of Something has been doing the rounds for quite some time. It first appeared on a bootleg called 'No. 3 Abbey Road NW8' on vinyl. It is now available on Purple Chick's Abbey Road set, disc 2, track 15.
This was take 37 recorded on 11 July 1969 at Abbey Road.
Something was first started with demo's on 25th Feb. On 16th April Something was again taped in demo form, featuring George Martin on piano. John wasn't there. It was remade on 2nd May with Billy Preston on piano.
So that is either George Martin, or more likely Billy Preston on Piano. There is no mention of John playing anything other than guitar. Nor could I find any mention of who is playing the organ. I'll assume it's George as it's very basic.
