OK - next question. The original version of the song Let It Be has a different solo than on the released single. The original version's guitar solo is very loud and almost seems incongruous to the song itself. I have never understood it. Who was it that played that solo? And was the solo added when Specter re-produced the album?

George played both solos with the original intention that they would later be mixed together.
