I'm not sure if there IS a definitive publication - even Record Collector is littered with errors. For example, it still lists a "loud cut" Rubber Soul, which I believe has now been proved to be a hoax!

Can I ask (politely) why you capitalize the first letter of every word in your posts? This is VERY hard to read, and not normal behaviour at all in English or American writing. It is done for titles only, but they are usually very short and only a few words. Plus... it must take you more time to write that way, but it's so hard to read!! Thanks...

I'd like to read more details about that, for there's a discussion going on on the Dutch forum about this particular album. It was Pete Nash of Beatle Monthly who I first heard say that the loud-cut was a hoax. So, as I have both the loud-cut and normal mono copies of the Rubber Soul, I decided to compare the two - there was no audible difference in volume between them!
