We might not always agree, but the important thing is that we at least listen to and respect each other. I've tried to post on some other websites that removed the link to my e-book and locked the thread. Is that any way to treat a "blogger"? At least here I was able to express my ideas, and for that I say thanks.

Well, I imagine you got past the worst part where thick skin is required, as long as people perceive your posting as not ONLY to hawk a product. There are actually 1 or 2 other posters here who have things to sell (another author comes to mind), but they add to the general fun Beatleness of the forums too.
When I hit 10,000 posts I will begin my marketing campaign, once I have lulled them all into thinking I'm here just for the beer...
Shhh, just between you and me!!

True true Alexis, and the only reason MFH locked that topic and deleted the link is because you were *Obviously* just hawking your book, and it's a forum, not an ad board. I know i have an ad in my sig, but;
A. it's not mine.
B. I added that months after joining.

I'm glad you posted here Carman, it's promoted quite a healthy debate in the Book section. Please feel free to join in the other topics - we may not all agree with the views expressed in your e-book but we ARE all Beatle fans, when all is said and done. And, as far as I can recall, not one thread from legitimate posters has been locked on this forum. AL

Mmm, I wouldn't call it healthy myself. But that's just another opinion of course.
