Subjective, I know but this takes some beating. Absolutely amazing. Let me hear your thoughts and your suggestions. Cheers.

I remember back in the mid-'60s when a reporter asked the Beatles who did their songs the best. Paul quickly retorted "Us!"
The fact that no one has suggested anything yet reinforces what Paul said. It's hard to find a cover version that beats what the Beatles did.
Other, a great idea for a thread.

Joe Cocker. - With a little help from my Friends. Siouxsie and the Banshees. - Dear Prudance. The Fall. - A Day in a Life.
In fact all of the NME tribute LP Sergeant Pepper Knew My Father is sublime.

I don't know if it is available on CD or any other format, but you can find a pretty good version of "Blackbird" by Crosby, Stills & Nash on YouTube. It's live. I suspect there are several versions available on YouTube.
Blackbird was one of the first songs CSN ever did together. Their 3-part harmony is very good on this song, as it is on everything else they have done. (Maybe they'll resolve their differences someday.)

Man, I wish I had posted that myself! I really don't think anyone can top that one, as far as covering the Beatles.
That was even better than I remembered.

I cannot get over how big a sound those three voices make. Utterly beautiful.
