That was just wonderful. What struck me was how small Paul's home was (although as kid we had a similar home without the second sitting/dining room). Can you imagine in the 1960's The Beatles gigging in those venues as they seemed so small. Love it.

Superb! The Penny Lane sequence, Fortlin Road, and the gig at the Phil, were great television. Paul really is "Mister Entertainment" and seems just as happy playing in the pub as in a stadium.

Paul really is "Mister Entertainment" and seems just as happy playing in the pub as in a stadium. If you've seen him live, as I have, you know that is the truth. Crowd-pleaser. I've seen him live twice in the past 4 years. Oh, yeah, I saw him with the Beatles in Memphis in 1966. Nearly 52 years ago.

For me Sir Paul keeps the memory of the Beatles alive. Ringo just a little bit, no disrespect, but he only sang a few songs, and John & George are sadly gone now.

He played Helter Skelter; that must be a rare performance of that song. Loved that he got riled up about the camera phones. I am baffled as to why people film gigs on their phones. What an experience it must have been to see the four play in that space all those years ago.

Usually it's because they can pop it up on YouTube easily from there. Or share it with friends on the internet. Takes me back to when we use to try sneaking cassette players into concerts to tape them. I still have hundreds of Dylan concerts on tape! The only group that would let you tape them was the Grateful Dead because of the Deadheads that would follow them around the country. The artist always use to blame the record companies as to the ones that banned players into their concerts.

Before the Kate Bush concert, "Before the Dawn" fans were made aware not to take pictures or film and on the whole we behaved ourselves. To be honest i couldn't have broken the rule as until recently i only had an antique phone that didn't take pictures. By the way , just had coffee with a friend who saw Macca in the coffee shop in Hampstead near where she lives and asked Paul for a selfie, sadly he said he didn't do selfies. I'm still envious that she met him.

I think people don't understand an artist gets barraged with fans asking for stuff! I seen mobs get out of control just for asking for an autograph! People pushing and shoving and if you were in the artists shoes it's really sickening to see this. So the artist gets fed up and just says ok no one gets an autograph. And then you hear and read the artist was stuck up and ingored fans. I'm just glad I'm not famous!! lol

CBS broadcast the McCartney Karaoke show tonight. Hour's worth (probably more like 44 minutes) Very entertaining. I don't know if the producers edited the songs or if Paul and band just made cuts. The the songs were very short.
Paul is a rather youthful 76. He just can't climb up the pipe to the window of his old apartment, the way he did when he was young and living there and had forgotten his key.
