I still cannot get my head around the fact that vinyl is about £30 a time , so much for £3.99 when I was a kid.

When the Beatles' records were new in the '60s, mono records were $3.79 and stereo records were $4.79 (US dollars). However, in 1967 records companies began pricing mono records the same and stereo and by 1968 mono records were gone.
If a record was recorded in mono, it was released as "electronically rechanneled for stereo." Capitol records used the term "Duophonic."

He`s a star that fella . Here is a question . Who went out a bought a Vinyl Beatles album last year ? Last year i bought, Pepper (again, had it on cds ) a few months before the super duper deluxe thingy which i had to have for the different mixes and all the other goodies that came with it.. Also i was collecting these Beatles Vinyl magazines up that came with the record, Rubber Soul , The White album (not long after i'd visited the V&A 66-to 70 exhibition where they had it for sale in the gift shop, of course i had it on cd and cassette, so bought it in Fopp for £32 now it's £50 in the same shop) Magical Mystery tour , a wonderful package and i also bought Abbey Road a few months ago , and on Christmas day i played Abbey Road , fantastic album . The only Beatles thing i didn't but was The Christmas package which i thought was way too pricey for something i'd maybe play once , however that Meanmrmayo unpacked it on youtube and i was sorely tempted but Fopp and everywhere had ran out with no plans to get more in. I think the only Beatles that i don't have...yet is Live at The BBC. Just remembered i also bought Love that came with the vinyl magazine.

He`s a star that fella . Here is a question . Who went out a bought a Vinyl Beatles album last year ? I DID! I went out and bought a copy of 'The Beatles Again' LP. Which was the title of the lp when it was first released on April 10, 1970. Then Capitol changed the prefix number from SO a 6.98 lp to SW a 5.98 lp and changed the name on the lp to 'Hey Jude' to capitalize on the hit single. I found out I didn't have the 'The Beatles Again' lp, but I do now! I was only 47 years late.

It costs £40 to watch a Premier football match and that`s not the highest price ! (Mr. Wenger) So in that in mind I guess it`s not to bad . Well fancy that ! Even though we must have the fabs albums , 3 or 4 times over we still buy... stuff ! I bought one To be fair it was because it was a first edition thingy Dragon what`s it Abbey Rd . Before that I think it was the box set in 1979 .
