Although i rarely go to museums i do go to The Victoria And Albert Museum to see the previous excellent one(twice), You Say You Want a Revolution , Records and Rebels 66- to 70 , i'll probably go this one on Pink Floyd . I love early Floyd but weirdly don't own a copy of Dark Side of the moon or Wish You Were here, only having their first 2 albums , Meddle and Relics. I just wish Syd Barrett had not been lost , what might he have produced , we'll never know . With Pepper being written in one studio at Abbey Road and Piper at The Gates of Dawn in another 67 was such a creative time. www.vam.ac.uk/exhibitions/pink-floyd#

A friend of mine was doing a replica of Syd's mirrored Esquire guitar and we dove into the life of Syd. Just a sad, sad outcome to what might have been. He went from pop icon with Floyd to almost obscurity in a snap of the fingers! R I P Syd.
