Someone mentioned that this song is considered the worst Beatles track. If it is why?. I'm sure some people dislike a few songs on The White album , but i really like Bungalow Bill , especially when once again with a Beatles song there's a good story behind the song.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Continuing_Story_of_Bungalow_Bill en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Continuing_Story_of_Bungalow_BillJust had to play , The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill on youtube, of course the official version seems to be blocked from youtube so i had to settle for the Esher demo which is still great.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ggb1mYY-uJY

Someone mentioned that this song is considered the worst Beatles track. If it is why?. Well pothos, it all depends on who the 'someone' was!? Music is a matter of personal taste and I'd like to bet that 'someone' out there thinks that The Beatles were the worst group ever! Difficult to believe I know but I seem to remember a story about 'The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill' in that Lennon thought that McCartney's 'Ob-la-di-obla-da' was twee, childish and soppy. So, in typical Lennon fashion, he wrote, along similar lines 'The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill' to avenge McCartney.

I almost bought as one of my first records, the definitive version of Ob La Di ob la da by The Marmalde ha ha (actually i don't hear much difference to the Beatles version) but sadly i spied another record and i'm sorry to say , came out of the shop with my mum with ......a Glasgow Rangers Lp(yes such a thing exists) it's my secret shame. I think my first actual pop record bought was The Love Affair with their version of Everlasting love.
