My cousin has mentioned that she owns an original pressing of Abbey Road bought at its original release. I was just wondering is it worth much today.

Well here's the thing: since 10 million rolled of the presses there's rather a lot of them around for them to be worth a fortune. Of course the better the condition the greater the worth.

Ya, it would be one thing if it was a copy of the White Album with a unique serial number, or an unpeeled butcher cover of Yesterday and Today, or a Magical Mystery Tour with inner booklet, or even a Sgt Peppers with cutout page. Shoot, I just saw a story of someone paying $15,000 for a butcher block Y&T a couple years ago. Who knows, there may be someone out there willing to pay a premium for a 1969 Abbey Road but I can't see it commanding serious collector cash
