Was anyone surprised by the Phil Collins comments. My take was that Paul has a very specific style of humour that went over his head so to speak.

Hmm. A bit over sensitive. I heard Paul's comment as trying to be cute. Maybe he's not always successful at it. Even so I certainly wouldn't have read into it all that Collins did.

"Oh pothos, our little Phil seems to be a bit of a Beatles fan." Maybe he was pissed because he called him 'little'. lol

I also thought that Paul has a well developed sense of humour that was just mis read. Can you imagine what all four of the Beatles said to each other. I gather Liverpool humour is quite earthy.

Paul actually could have been referring 'to our little Phil' to Phil being up in the seats when the Beatles were in 'A Hard Days Night" and Phil was like 13. In which case makes Phil look like the bigger ass than he is now for saying what he did.

he was asking for an autograph! Of course Paul's gonna make a smug joke to his missus about a fellow successful musician wanting HIS autograph.
