Strangely large on Edge (newest version of Windows), normal looking on Firefox.

Same here Al. I use Windows 7 and Internet Explorer. I actually don't see the white crosses in the black squares - that might give you a clue or an idea of what's happening. Attachments:

For me it looks like a skin is missing and the formatting needs adjusting. Updating to 10 would not suit me as my printer and scanner are as old as the hills and I cannot afford to update them.

It`s OK on Windows 10 Up date people while it`s still free ! To me that would be the ultimate 'cracking a walnut with a sledgehammer' scenario. I'm more than happy with my Windows 7. In fact I upgraded to the free Windows 10 about 6 months ago and it was horrendous. Lots of invasive stuff that I didn't want and when I tried to revert back to Windows 7 (there was the facility to do this) my computer crashed and I lost loads of stuff - including literally thousands of music files . No thanks John!

Hi Everyone Sorry, yeah, as I suspected, the cause of the errant buttons is definitely to do with Virgin shutting down their free webspace service… after 16 years (it was originally set up with NTL)! The reason why some users could still see the buttons and some couldn’t is to do with your cookie settings and internet cache – essentially, some browsers remembered what the buttons looked like and some didn’t. So what does this all mean now? Well… when I was going through the process of changing the forum’s domain over from Yahoo to 1&1, at that time I also took the precaution of downloading and saving all of the button images that were hosted on the free NTL/Virgin webspace. Soooo…. all the buttons are safe, however, they now need to be uploaded and appropriately relinked back to the forum, all of which will take some considerable time to sort out – time, which at present I unfortunately do not have spare. Rest assured, I’m on the case, but realistically it’s now going to be a few weeks before this issue can be fixed. I would have done it sooner but as some users were still able to see the buttons (including myself!), I wrongly assumed it was a localised problem rather than being forum-wide, and now I won’t have the time to fix it for a few weeks. Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause and I really hope it doesn’t spoil your enjoyment of the forum. Should you have any queries, please feel free to PM me or post in the comments below and I'll do my best to reply ASAP. All the best, AL
