I found this the other day which claims that The Beatles songs are titled according to this secret code, in which A = 1, B = 2, C =3 ..... Z = 26. This article analyzed Magical Mystery Tour: tinyurl.com/qfg8e7jAnd this article analyzed Please, Please Me: tinyurl.com/oprbpl4Usually I don't pay any attention to this kind of stuff but it's pretty interesting, especially me being Beatles fan. I read some of his or her other posts, also, where he or she describes the code's use in other places. I'd be interested in hearing what others have to say about it. Cheers

Ok, so there are some numbers that relate to the first letters in each word of each song. I can do that with Black Lace songs.
Sorry if I am missing the point but what do the numbers actually correlate too?

Now don't be quick to judge. I worked it out. The final message is: "Stig has been dead for ages. Honestly."

Ha! I like this part "Single word titles were a tactic employed by the propagators of the Code in order to trivialize it." BULLSHIT! It was found it was easier for people to remember a title if it's just one word, e.g.'Misery' instead of 'The World Is Treating Me Bad'. All this stuff about John & Paul had a secret agenda or code is total BS to me. Stick it with all that 'Paul Is Dead' crap and don't insult my intelligence. (not you luminary)but the jerks that come up with this stuff. btw Welcome to The Forum.

Didn't Charles Manson reckon that The Beatles were communicating with him, through secret messages within their songs, to start a racial Armageddon? Of course, Manson was crazy...... as are most such conspiracy theorists.

I wouldn't class Charles Manson as a conspiracy theorist. Conspiracy theorists just tend to talk about things and not actually do anything about it.
The term 'conspiracy theorist' annoys me. It's a media term for people who choose not to believe everything they are told. So if you question something that goes against 'the norm', certain types of government policy, question facts reported by commissions, believe in the possibility of other life forms etc you are then labelled a 'conspiracy theorist'. That to me is just wrong.
Manson was the worst type of crazy - crazy with intelligence. He wasn't physically present at the murders. He got his 'disciples' to do that so that he could blame them if anything came back to him.

I love conspiracy theories. To me it’s amazing how some people manage to construct byzantine plots behind the most obvious circumstances. Whether it’s the assassination of JFK, the 9/11 attacks, the death of Princess Di, the reasons are always a murky cabal of government/commercial interests, employing unlimited resources, and with unerring technical expertise. I’ve watched a number of TV documentaries exposing the “truth” behind a death or disaster, and the weave of theories is always entertaining; especially when they contradict each other! There are two views of history; “conspiracy, or, cock-up” The conspiracy theory advocates propound that every disaster, failure, high-profile death, war, or career advancement is the result of some dark global cabal, usually led by the CIA. The opposing view is that history has numerous blunders, omissions, errors and simple bad luck. People forget, are lazy or just stupid. Many of them are in high government positions, so their mistakes are critical. However, government departments are very reluctant to admit error and so they often resort to cover up; and this cover up often leads to cries of conspiracy! During the Whitewatergate scandal [now that is a conspiracy which may not be a theory] an associate of the Clintons asked a journalist why he was “so determined to turn over every rock” The journalist answered “because you have your foot firmly on every one of them!” Cover ups are an almost instinctive reaction by officials. If they admitted their mistakes there wouldn’t be so many crazy, yet entertaining, conspiracy theories..
