Hi Everyone! Well, Beatle Week 2015 is fast approaching (I don’t know where those last 12 months have gone, do you?) and if you are planning a trip to Liverpool this August, whether it's your 1st or 21st time, please do come along and meet up with your fellow Beatle Forum members. This annual meet up has enabled us all to make so many great friends over the years and it’s a great way to meet like-minded people from across the world. It's proven to be a huge success over the years - this being our ninth year now and it is especially great if you’re planning on coming on your own as you will likely keep bumping into those friendly faces over the course of this Beatle Week and future Beatle events for many years to come... whether you want to or not (haha)!! It’s not just a Beatle Forum – it’s a forum of friends. So here are those all-important details: The Beatle Forum meet up will be on Saturday 29th August at 12:00 midday in The Grapes, Mathew Street, then at around 2:00 pm (ish), we’ll move onto a music venue, usually either the Cavern Club/Cavern Pub (depending who's playing). Really looking forward to seeing you all there again this year. If you need more details please feel free to message me or leave a note below. All the best! AL

It all seemed a bit short and sweet this year and I think it's the first time none of us got a chance to take any pics during the meet-up!

I don't know why there weren't any photos taken at the meet up in the Grapes, although I suspect it may have been as a result of the confusion caused by the pubs choice of music. As I remember they were playing, 'Oops upside your head', 'Rock The Boat' and selected Barry White tunes....all on a Saturday afternoon, down Mathew Street, during Beatleweek, Barry White indeed!!!

Oh bloody loved all the Wings stuff ! What kind of Wings stuff? ? I love Wings stuff!! Oh Yes ! It was a Wings/Macca afternoon in the Alma De Cuba Nube 9 were fab , the first time I`ve seen them ( i think ) They played erm . Monkberry Moon Delight Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five , Band On the Run and erm .. Someone did Rockestra Love Is Strange , Figure Of Eight , Beware My Love which was fantastic But a band that did blow my mind was McDonalds Farm they did the Medley from Red Rose Speedway , and My Love . It`s all bit vague now but I bet Mr Musty will help me out , I think . So Bongo ! Wings fan I would be interested in your thoughts Think it`s time we had a Wings thread . And who knows , it might even be as popular as the Rory Storm thread ! I think we got at least one crackin photo of the afternoon eh Al ?

Definitely a Wings Fan. Macca all the way from 1970-1977. Back to the Egg was when I stopped listening to Macca.

Yeah, mrmustard had to have words with them - I mean, Barry White??? We did get I Saw Her Standing There played twice though! But must admit, not a great atmosphere in the Grapes, was it? And I did try to get us some "finger food" but they didn't do any sort of sharing platter and wouldn't do sides without mains Thank god for that scary chicken burger at Alma de Cuba! God only knows how I didn't get food poisoning (again!).
