I wonder if anyone else has noticed that on the original I Want To Hold Your Hand single after the "I tell you something" Dum Dum Dum Dum DEOWWW the last note is crazy I assume it's George but it does not appear in other versions Live performances radio etc, even the Tribute bands that I've heard just play a normal note sorry I'm not up on musical notation etc, but I hope you can understand what I'm on about .Any ideas?

For decades I thought the Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum part was played by George on his Gretsch, and the DEOWWW was overdubbed. But I'm pretty sure the Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum was played by Paul on his Hofner bass. Paul used/uses a pick when he plays bass. The Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum is somewhat darker than the DEOWWW string unbend.
To my ears, the Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum part on "Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand" does sound like a regular guitar. Some sources claim it's the same instrumental track, but I thing that moving part was added on for the German version.

Yes I think you are right! Was it he German Version of "She Loves You" that just put vocals on the existing instruments tracks. Funny though I do miss the DEOWWW perhaps it was hard to get it just right outside of the studio. I also notice that not many tribute Bands get the assenting attack chords at the start I think I may have OCD that's why these things bother me thanks again.

As far as the intro to "I Want to Hold Your Hand," for decades I thought it began on 4 and 1 and that I was losing the beat somewhere between there and where the voices come in. Then I realized the intro is just an instrumental version of "I can't hide, I can't hide," which starts on the and of 3. Or "and 4 and." Perhaps the tribute bands are not feeling the beat properly and knowing that it's the same as "I can't hide," or as Bob Dylan misheard the lyric, "I get high."
