I got an email stating that Paul McCartney's American tour was being postponed. Paul says he is feeling great but his doctors have told him to take it easy for a few more days. The email came from the venue was Paul was scheduled to play.
My problem is that the concert is reschedule for October 11, when my wife and I had already made reservations for a vacation trip.
I hate this. I'll have to get my money back.

Ah that's terrible henryj, but are you claiming your money back from the McCartney gig or your vacation???

Claiming money back from the concert. But I am seriously considering going to Dallas concert, which is just after we get back from the vacation trip. My other brother has tickets to that performance.

All right. We're going to the Dallas Concert in October. My youngest brother will be there too. I think we have better seats than his. We're up in the applause section, not the "rattle your jewelry" section.

Well, we are leaving for Dallas tomorrow morning for the concert tomorrow night. One of my two brothers will meet us there. Our other brother saw him in New Orleans Saturday night and said it was awesome, with 26 Beatle songs, 40 altogether. He says it was a different setlist from past years.

I'll let y'all know when I get better rested. IN the meantime, look in Peregrine's Beatle News updates, Peregrine's solo news, and click on the 10 Paul McCartney news updates. There is a link to the Dallas newspaper critique.
All I'll say for now is it was a great show. If you have several hundred dollars to spend, it's well worth it. One of my two brothers was there a few sections away. He said there were no "popcorn" songs, that is, songs that you go get up and get popcorn.
He played for nearly three hours, counting two encores. The audience loved it.
"Live and Let Die" was a bit startling with all the explosions on stage.
I'll give you a more complete review this weekend when I am caught up on my sleep.

..and hopefully, none of us caught the Ebola virus in Texas. :^) You're more likely to be struck by lightning. Next month you'll never hear a word about it. The media has nothing else to talk about right now. Anyways.....here's a little something from Sir Paul that night in Dallas.

Hey, thanks for that video, Rocky. Brought back great memories of last Monday night. It was a great show and everyone enjoyed it.
I'll finish my review of the show in a few days. I had been on another travel the week before and am recovering from all the travel.
And you are absolutely right about the media and ebola.

Great, henryj! Would like to read your review of the concert. Here's another song from Dallas. I like how Paul performs and displays this song with pics. I'm surprised he doesn't do a John tribute song too during the concert.

He did "Here Today," a heart-rending song about what he would say to John if John were still alive. I haven't reviewed the setlist, but I do remember him singing one or two Beatle songs that John did the lead vocal on, implying that John was the main writer.

Correct henryj, I forgot that one (Hear Today). Did Paul have pics up on the big screen of John, like he did for George's tribute? Two encores and 39 songs! At least people can't complain they didn't get there moneys worth from that concert!
