Quite a bit of good information in this documentary.... You can balance what people like Alan Williams say, against more reliable sources, such as Horst Fascher and Klaus Voorman. Interesting interview with Astrid on here about how the Beatles found out about Stu's death and their reactions.

I'm surprised, I though American courts imposed much tougher sentences than over here.

All I have to say is OJ. lol They were more upset the cop used the 'N' word than two peoples lives were lost! It's all in who you know and who's palms are being greased if you catch my drift.
Although it was Jaco's fault he got himself into a situation like that, it still doesn't mean you can do that to someone.

I just tried to post a Stuart image and was told that the forum has exceeded it limit and I could not upload. Any idea what is going on. Here's why: See the third category: the storage for attachments to posts is almost full. It can be increased, but it will cost $3 per month. It is possible to delete a whole lot of attachments from the admin centre, but maybe it's best for members to have a look for themselves what can be deleted. I think the best thing to do is posts pictures not as an attachment, but within the post itself using the [ img ] and [ /img ] things.

Does Youtube clips count as I can delete them also. I don't think so. It's just everything that is posted as an attachment, not when it's within the post itself.

Of course being a guitar collector you know I was going to try and find Stu's acoustic guitar that was in the film above. (Starting at 9:20 in the film it is shown.) www.liverpoolmuseums.org.uk/mol/exhibitions/sutcliffe/guitar.aspxAlso of interest, to the left, is other memorabilia of Stu's in this museum. Here is a pic of Stu's Hofner President bass. It is the one he's holding in the pic I posted above. www.rockmine.com/Stu2.htmlIt sold at auction in 1986 for about $15000USD. A bargain indeed!!

I would love to own some Stuart art but I suspect that it would be rather pricy.

I wish I'd kept my Hofner Senator from 1963!

I like late work 2. I also love the old women with the wine bottle from the early series of paintings.

Yeah those both are nice. Some of early work reminds me of Van Gogh's.

Me too prefer the early work, although I can see the intensity of the later works as well and I'm amazed by the speed of how Stuart developed as a painter. Does this site show all of his work or is there more?
