Hunter Davies claims to be the inspiration for McCartney's throw-away song 'There you are Eddie', which surfaced around the 'Let it be' sessions and was allegedly written as a playful poke at the Authors full name of Edward Hunter Davies. It's actually a lovely little song and just goes to show that even the stuff they gave or threw away were things of beauty in their own right.
