Hello,
By request, I have now selected my 100 best photos from Beatle Week in Liverpool 2003-2012.
They are now available as a 9 min movie at YouTube in Full-HD
Enjoy!

Great photos - thanks for sharing - some great memories there! But you'd think that spanning 9 years of Beatle Weeks I'd be in at least one of them!! LOL AL

Have I ever mentioned my first Beatleweek/convention in Liverpool was 1982? It's even more surprising I'm not in any either!

No you haven't. I've kept all my programmes too. I've still got the 1982 programme and I also have the 1981 programme to which my sister went.

I must have ! I joined the Magical Mystery ..... Cant remember the rest . It was down stairs to a little shop across the road from Mathew St . .... I do remember something like that .. Then it became The Cavern Mecca . Which I went to all the Beatle do`s they had . I was a bit of a celeb(for I was on me own ) as I was`nt from Liverpool , Japan or the US . I remember having a long chat with the Beatle brain of Britian Steve ...something .... Also they showed the "In progress " film The Long And Winding Road which as we know ended up as Anthology . When they were struggling to keep the place open I and all the members sent money to keep it open and we where made life members . Happy memories .

For goodness sake (I've got the hipp .....) sorry, wrong thingy. Just to prove that the both of you (sorry Mr M) were there for at least one year - View AttachmentView Attachment Great pics!!! That t-shirt should be back this year!! My first one was 1995 - so I guess I'm still a newbie!! But I missed 1997 due to work - a long and very boring story involving me sacrificing Beatle Week so two other managers could go on holiday with their families, even though I booked the time off first (oh, perhaps it wasn't such a long story after all! LOL! Bet you're bored though!) Luckily I'm not bitter about it whatsoever.... yeah right!!!

I quite fondly recall my two Beatle convention experiences from the 1980's,one in downtown Boston,Massachusetts and the other across the mighty Charles River in Cambridge.Quite a thrill to be around so many other people with the same great degree of appreciation for the Fabs. But alas I may never know the thrill of attending one of these in the Beatles own home town of "Liddypool" as John Lennon once referred to the great city in one of his off the wall yet inspired literary musings.I imagine that what with the four streets named after them, the John Lennon airport and,of course, the Beatles museum,MANY days through the year can seem like some sort of Beatles convention!Has anyone ever gotten anyone who knew the band early on to speak at any of these like Pete Shotton or Paul's lesser celebrated musician brother Mike McGear?
