Hello, I purchased this record some years ago and I need to know if it is of any value. The acetate says is from a label called "Bird Brain Records" Thanks

it's a bootleg album & it is worth the same as anything else in this world - whatever someone is prepared to pay.
But why do you NEED to know if it's of any value - it was made to enjoy and be played - surely that is the important thing

Hey. Are you familiar with the world of bootlegs? That album looks like it has 2 or 3 concerts or parts of concerts and there's many Beatles concerts floating around out there. A lot of them sound really bad. How does yours sound?
Beatles boots became a BIG business especially in the early '80's. They started out as plain white album sleeves with a piece of paper on the front and lousy sound. Usually a grab bag of live and BBC and studio recordings. Then as time went by, the quality began to get a bit better especially now that low generation studio outtakes were starting to leak. And the cover artwork started to get better too.
BUT, most of those albums were manufactured by 'business first' people. And there was a willing market. But with the advent of the internet, that has helped but some sleaze bags out of business because now the recordings are put together by the fans for the fans. It's now free sharing around the internet. As it should be.
Your record might be valuable to someone who has an interest in late 70's early 80's boots in a physical form but as for general Beatles collectors, maybe not so much because if you look hard enough, you'll find fan sites that have the same material and more than likely better sound quality FOR FREE.
It's been put back into the hands of the fans who love the music and want to share it with others who love the music.
As a modern example of an online boot label, just google 'purple chick' who have gathered everything they possibly could get their hands on and spiffed it all up for free download with nice artwork you can print out. you might have to really search for places to get the stuff because the 'intellectual property police' eventually find the host sites and shut them down.
Hopefully that gives you some historical knowledge. Even Wikipedia had a section on bootlegs for more info.
Cheers

Thanks a lot, that was what I was looking for. As for the sound I really don´t remember if it is good or not, I purchased that about 20 years ago and it was stored for a long time and now I don´t have a turntable to listen it.
Thanks
