I hear that Tony Palmer's Bealtles documentary "Mighty Good" which was part of his mega series in the 70's is getting a DVD release in July. Anyone else got any info? I've seen the whole series is available but I only really want the Beatles episode to add to my collection!

I am familiar with Palmer's "All My Loving",an insightful look into the counterculture pop explosion of the '60's.I wish it were a bit longer, but the interviews with McCartneyand Eric Burdon among others are fascinating.Has anyone ever caught this one on the Beeb?

I think you might actually be referring to the Beatles episode from Tony Palmer's other music series called All You Need is Love - it has been repeated on Sky Arts One a couple of times over the past year. It's a strange episode really and seems quite disjointed to me as it suddenly veers onto other artists (e.g. Beach Boys) for no apparent reason.
The interesting thing about this programme though is the fact that some parts were directly parodied by Eric Idle for the Rutles All You Need Is Cash - especially note the interview with Queenie Epstein!
