Whats your theory on why we are here? How did human civilisation begin and how did it develop into where we are now?

That is a bloody brilliant question (s) Mr M .
Why are we here ? When you think about it the more you start to wonder how some people came to exist , like Hitler , Simon Cowell ,Justin Bieber. But then its not all bad . Humans have done some wonderful things , Music , Art , I pods , Blue Rays , Jigsaw Puzzles .
I think though , we are here just out of pure luck . The Universe has been around for a very long time and we are just a tiny drop in the very large sea of clouds and gases and goo. Everything in the universe is made out of the same basic elements . We (us humans ) are from the vast space and if you got to the far end of the universe you would find the same stuff that is here on Earth . The one thing that is different is that we get heat and light from the sun . We are not to near and not to far . The Porridge theory . Anyhow 35 Billions years later we crawled out of the sea and learned to Text . The reason Human civilistion began is that we have one instinct and that is to learn and survive . Survival of the fitest . It is simple as that really . Or is it ? There is the missing link and there seems to be a history of mankind that is`nt told in our schools How did they build the Pyramids ? Who invented the light bulb ? Open heart surgery . ? Helicopters? . All these things can be found on wall from 2000 b.c . The human race was intelligent long before the last part of the erm last Century . The Human brian is a mysterious thing and maybe we are only half way from what we can achieve . But then again we have Simon Cowell .

I reckon there was a lost civilisation that was technically advanced. How else do you explain the pyramids, the plains on Nazcar etc etc

Yeh , then we have the hybrid Alien / Human theory . Which would explain a lot of things . But that is a very long and a very Big debate .

Visited by aliens in our dark and distant past would explain a lot of things. This isn't just a theory, there's evidence in those French caves, the Bayeau Tapestry and loads of other places.

With the planet's population expanding faster than society can keep up with, i.e. food, infrastructure, and the clear evidence that this population explosion definitely influences the quick growth of the Sahara desert, the imbalance of flora and fauna growth in places like South America, China, Africa, and certain pollution and waste of ours that will last hundreds of thousands of years, like nylon fishing nets and CD jewel cases along with the inability of world powers who don't want to be the first to give up a bit of the profit in order to start letting the Earth renew itself, and the extreme proliferation of Condo hi-rises in Toronto that will result in a couple hundred thousand people moving into a small area and we don't know the effect on the existing infrastructure if all 200,000 have to poop and flush the toilet at the same time that didn't have to a year ago.....
My question to you is: Would you like some toast?

Once again that is a very good question .
In todays crazy fast paced world were we know what has gone on before we can turn on the T.V. and watch Suzanne Reid and Charlie in the morning Via social net works , and yes it is all doom and gloom and all the talk of how the weather is not as bad as it was last week and then I did remember that the sun did actually come out for just one day . Then dissapeared .
So the weather is crazy and is messing up the wheat growth and the farmers have to put wellies on this time a year to cut the wheat and not to be worried about the crop circle Aliens turning up as the weather is even to bad for some far out shapes that end up on Led Zeppelin compilations .
But Im sure we must have now come to terms of not having a Summer anymore , I mean we save on money on clothes , no need to buy T.Shirts or shorts or Sun Glasses .
As for breaking fast , no need to have some nice Strawberrys or a Melon or bran flakes with nice cold milk . You got to have something warm inside when you you make your merry way through the constant rain and cold mornings and there can not be anything better than a nice piece of toast with lovely melting butter spread nice and thick , that will soak in the Toast and make it all floppy . So yes . I would love some toast .

I have a question that has nothing to do with toast or crumpets or bagels or anything bready.
It's to do with RUSH: Were the kimonos EVER cool?

I have a question that has nothing to do with toast or crumpets or bagels or anything bready. It's to do with RUSH: Were the kimonos EVER cool? Of course . Everything about the 70`s were cool . The only time that Rush were not cool was the 80`s when they got their haircuts and started wearing suits ! Suits ! for gods sake . The next time you will see me in a suit is when I`m in a Pine Box .

What Rush t-shirt will you wear? After a long look for my Snakes And Arrows Tye Dye one and I could`nt find it I put on my grey Time Machine one . Last nights gig was well . For me a game of two halves . First part was All 80`s stuff , which was most of Power Windows . And as you may know Amadeus I`m not a 80`s Rush man . Second part was a fair few from Clockwork Angels with a 8 string ensemble , which was pretty good and after that we got the classic Rush . YYZ with the strings . Quality . Spirit Of The Radio , Tom Sawyer , 2112 short bit . Just under 3 hours of Rush . Not a bad night out . oH! , I bought a black Clockwork T. Shirt and Program . This was the highlight for me . Headlong Flight .

Why is the plural of goose 'geese' but the plural of moose isn't 'meese'?

Good question . You may not know but I`m a bit of an old Ornitholgist. And you may also know that birds have the name as we all use like Blue Tit and they also have a latin name ,Cyanistes caeruleus. My fav bird the Lapwing is also called The Pee Wit and of course its latin name is Vanellus vanellus. Why Lapwing . They nest on the ground and if a predator comes hunting for its young or its eggs , it flaps it wing as though it was injured and we lure the predator away from the nest. Pee Wit . Thats the sound of its call . So you see that in the Bird world nothing is straight forward . Geese are normally in large packs . You may have noticed that when you go to the park to feed the ducks , you will never see a goose on it`s own . Hence you need to say "Geese are being greedy on that bread Not "Goose are being greedy on that bread " As for moose . How often have you seen two moose in the park ? I hope that helps you out Art .

Genius! :-D In which case, it begs the question, why do birds suddenly appear?

Once again that is a good question . But Burt Bacharach had it all wrong . Birds did`nt suddenly appear, they have been around before Burts ancestors were discovering Fire and making flints . Birds are in fact Dinosaurs. Darwins theory of evolution was sparked by birds . A quick theory of Evolution . Little floating thing in the sea . Got greedy and grew fins . Got bigger got more greedy crawled from the sea, grew legs A couple of million years later . Became someone else`s food got scared crawled up a tree and grew wings and it was a bit nippy up a tree so it grew feathers . And before you knew it they became so big that they gave King Kong a run for his money on Skull Island . But some of the creatures that found how to survive without chasing big meated creatures . They were called Birds and lived off seeds , insects and worms . This food source did`nt cause any problems and so the Birds stayed as they are . Became one of the most varied succsessful creatures on the planet . So Birds are about 150 million years old . And the answer to the question is . Burt got it all wrong , Birds did`nt suddenly appear . You gotta love Birds .
