I finally got to watch the movie Nowhere Boy. My favorite part of the movie: When John punches Paul in the mouth at John's Mom's funeral.

I've never read that he did. I'm sure it would have come out somewhere if he had punched Paul in real life. We know John smashed Pete Shotton over the head with his washboard and beat the crap out of Bob Wooler. I can't believe any self respecting journalist or writer would omit this gem if they were made aware. I suppose it's not outside the realms of possibility but I'm going for fiction - like most of the film.

Yeah I kinda agree it would have been reported early on if it was true, especially when they were at odds with one another at break-up time, it would have made good copy. But I found myself cheering when I seen it in the movie. lol As one of the 'extra behind the scenes' added to the DVD it shows Yoko at the premiere of the movie saying she enjoyed the movie and I'm sure she was cheering that scene too! lol
