Mr K? You alright mate? Still waiting for that long letter you've been banging on about for the past month or so. . That'll be Maria McKee - 'You Gotta Sin To Get Saved'. Didn't realize this was released in 1993. Didn't she do 'Show Me Heaven'? I didn't particularly like the song but she has a great voice. My turn now (you can join in if you like Amadooly!). Here it is then. Easy one this.

Hello there Amadeus. Just a quick question. Has anyone ever 'rocked you' a la Falco? See below Your cover quiz (I didn't know you were a classical buff!) The album is Beethoven Symphony No. 2 in D Minor by The National Philharmonic Orchestra. Oh, and erm, crossed out stuff on the cover replaced with either 'Another Monty Python Record' or 'Another Monty Python CD' depending on your persuasion. I'll get my thinking cap on and I'll offer another cover quiz visual thingy later tonight when I get time.

Hah! I actually have the 12'' single. For some reason, I thought it was cool when it came out and I just had to get it. Amadeus the movie was current at the time so I guess that was one selling point for the song.
Yes I like classical, but I don't actually have that version of Symphony 2.
And my copy says 'Another Monty Python Record'. I have all their albums in the CD box set from '93 but I also have a few of the vinyl counterparts especially for the cover art. The write up on the back of the cover is hilarious. Describing the musical movements of Beethoven's 2nd and his high lob and subsequent arrest on a hard court,'Just a harmless bit of fun' he said. Indeed.

Hah! I saw this poser in a Perigrine thread just a few minutes ago. The Clash - London Calling. One of the greatest rock and roll covers ever! Sorry I just jumped up and grabbed it before anyone else had a chance. Here's mine, then I'll keep quiet for a few minutes at least.

Hello again there Amadeus. How's ya belly for spots? Lots of sleepless nights about this one but finally the answer came to me on a flaming pie!! It actually manifested itself on the number X22 bus from Ashington to Newcastle if you must know! It's 'Architecture And Morality' by Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark. Do I get extra Karma for the correct spelling? Here goes then for another cover (or part of it anyway) : Anyone?

In keeping with my 'trademark', my first clue is to reveal more of the album cover. I think someone will get it from this. All I can say is this album is a masterpiece. Well, at least in my eyes - and the majority of the music media tend to agree with me.

As art so cleverly stated in the 'random thoughts' thread, he knows what this one is but is giving all you wonderful people a go at guessing this one.
You have the weekend, then you'll get a clue.

Once again I`m sure I know it . Well, here's a clue. It's another case of 'Is it the same band with this singer?'. Someone from Liverpool should get it.
