Very good mrmustard! This one maybe not too hard, but something I didn't know--> Next Wed. the 22nd, marks the last time ALL four Beatles were ever seen together! So you figure since that first time Ringo popped on that stage in Hamburg to fill in for Pete in 1960 until 1969 a brief nine yrs. had gone by. And us American's had only known them for five years! Simply amazing!! Oh almost forgot my question(s) is what were they last together for and where were they at?

That is a wee bit tricky . But as a band they were together for the Photo shoot at Tittenhurst Park , Lennons home . But then they could have been together as the Writs began .

The general consensus is the Tittenhurst photo shoot and that's probably the case. However there's this article that puts all four of them having dinner together during the mastering of All Things Must Pass. See what you think..... triumphpc.com/mersey-beat/a-z/georgepeckham-apple3.shtml

Nice BS, but I doubt it mrmustard. BTW the last pics of the Beatles were used for the Beatles Again lp. You can see in their faces they weren't a happy bunch.

OK a little bit harder one. What famous female film star recorded the song "John You Went Too Far This Time" which was critical of the Two Virgins lp cover?

I know. I have the song. I also have a tape of Two Virgins. Nice album. Sir Joe of EMI had a chat with Jock and Yono about not issuing that album cover, they countered by saying it was art, he shot back that if that was the case, couldn't they have found a couple of nicer bodies to look at. John, You Went Too Far This Time - Rainbo (Sissy Spacek) It's actually quite a pretty song.

Th However there's this article that puts all four of them having dinner together during the mastering of All Things Must Pass. See what you think..... No other biography puts them together at all around that time. And if it was mastering "All Things Must Pass", it was still 1970 and Paul and John hadn't put out their "tit for tat" songs yet. That came next year.

However what has also been pointed out is what George Peckham would have gained by telling this story - nothing. It's certainly feasible he was there so why make it up? Either way it's an interesting angle on the question.

Very good guys! I'm impressed! And Sissy did sound pretty good on the song too! As for John, you know what they say, there's that fine line between an idiot and a genius and John may have been leaning just a little bit to that one side on his decision for the cover of that lp. lol

I just remembered a pretty funny story about that John & Yoko lp I'd like to share with you guys. When it first came out I remember our D. A. here (Pgh.,Pa.) came out and said that if any of those records would come into the city he had orders to confiscate them and have them destroyed! lol So I had a friend drive all the way up to Cleve. to buy us a few of the lps. I could care less what John or Yoko looked like naked. I was thinking it would be a Plastic Ono type music lp and found out later that the lp wasn't any better than the cover. lol BTW I also remember when I had front row seats to see the Doors here and the same D.A. back then, I think his name was Duggan, wouldn't let them perform at our Civic Arena because good old Jim pulled his pants down on stage in Miami (so they say). I never did get a chance to see them dammit!
