I'm mostly looking forward to listening to bands playing late Beatle stuff or solo songs. For some reason, a lot of bands concentrate on the early era. Maybe it's because they're dressed up in the grey suits but still.. Prefer the later stuff

The earlier stuff is a bit more accessible just requiring guitars bass and drums whereas the later stuff at the very least requires an additional keyboard player to do it justice. Bands, in general, doing early stuff also get away without having to have really good lead guitar player but with later stuff it's essential. That's not to say the earlier stuff is easier to reproduce. It's just that some bands can do simplistic versions of early songs more so than the later stuff. Most bands play to their public and most of the public know/prefer the early stuff. I'm with you Monty.

We've just finished sorting out our set lists. Tried to minimise repeating songs as much as possible, which means we're performing 85 different songs over the weekend. Hopefully something for everyone!

Yeah, that's what I'm going to do this weekend. I'm going to compile a list of some bands and put their itineraries on the board all in one place. At the moment, it's a bit of a pain to do because I'm looking at this forum via phone.
