Anybody out there heard the Danish band Dizzy Mizz Lizzy? They've (sadly) been broken up for some time, but got back together a few years ago. I was lucky enough to see them at their first ever concert since their reunion, at Roskilde festival. Their lead-singer (and guitarist) is a BIG Beatles fan, and many of their songs make references to the Beatles. (As you can probably figure out from their band name.) One of their biggest hits has been the song: 11,07 Pm (yup.. That dreaded time), which is a tribute to John Lennon and is about the singers grief over the loss of this great man. (Link to the song later.) The song makes references to John Lennon all the way through. But if you are unaware of who he is, you might not be able to figure it out, thus making the band suited for both Beatles-fans and not. A nice little way you can tell it's about Lennon (aside from the title) is this line: "All that was lost on that night in December, only a mad man to blame. So many tears on that night in December. But on Strawberry Fields there's a flame. So we'll always remember your name." It's a really good song, and defiantly worth listening too, so here's a link, as promised: Please tell me if you enjoyed it

I must admit, this was not what I was expecting at all - I always cringe when I hear most tribute songs but this is good! Nice subtle (and not so subtle) Beatles and Lennon references in the video too. Thanks for posting.

I'm mostly not one for fan-bands either But when I first listened to this band, I was so young I didn't really speak English, so I couldn't understand the references anyway, making me all in love with the band because of it's music The video is obliviously old, and their first video as far as I know, which is quite clear from the amount of money spend on it xD but I like it, because it's really quirky and sort of hints to the idea that it was the American government who planned the murder.
