Here's one from the much overlooked New York Rock and Roll Ensemble featuring Michael Kamen and Marty Fulterman (who went on to change his name to Mark Snow and write the X-files theme).
Fields of Joy, which people assume is a Lenny Kravitz song. He just covered it and got Slash to do the guitar solo.

Morning/Afternoon/Evening
Yes Mr K, I do have quite a few favourite videos but the one I'm playing and watching at the moment is Cloud Cult - 'Pretty Voice'. It's not an 'epic' well produced, slick cinematic video. It's just the band performing when they dropped into a radio station in America.
The lead singer and guitarist had a son, Kaidin, who tragically died at 2 years old in 2002. This song is about the fact that he and his wife separated for a time in their grief over the loss of Kaidin, and then reunited and got back together. I can sense the emotion in his voice. Beautiful. And by the way, the lyric is "She makes me calm". Not what it sounds like.

I love Nick Cave. I got Birthday Party and Bad Seeds albums. Loved him since the,,,wait for it,,,,since the '80's!!!!!
I already had the split LP 'Drunk On The Pope's Blood' with Birthday Party and Lydia Lunch. But I hadn't heard the Bad Seeds yet. So,,,I was in Piccadilly Tower Records and they were playing his new (at the time) album 'Tender Prey'. And the rest is revisionist history.

The Boatsman`s Call . Strange to think I was into P.J. Harvey before Nick . ( I always think of P.J. as a female Cave even though I heard her before I heard Nick ) I got in . He was brilliant . Here is my highlight last night . Caution the word kitchen is used .
