I've been reading the blurb about the special features included in the imminent release of Help! on Blu-ray and it sounds like the missing scene might actually be included this time!
As a reminder, 6 years ago (eeeeek!!!!) for the DVD release, all of the hype back then suggested that there was a missing scene included (a scene where Paul attends Sam Ahab's acting school with another young actress (Wendy Richards) with the role of Sam played by Frankie Howerd) however, although it said "missing scene" on the DVD, it was in fact just a discussion about it accompanied by a few stills - the missing scene was still missing!
These are the special features - what do you think?
The Beatles in Help! – a 30-minute documentary about the making of the film with Richard Lester, the cast and crew, including exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of The Beatles on-set. A Missing Scene – a film outtake, featuring Wendy Richard The Restoration of Help! – an in-depth look at the restoration process Memories of Help! – the cast and crew reminisce 1965 Theatrical Trailers – two original U.S. trailers and one original Spanish trailer 1965 U.S. Radio Spots (hidden in disc menus)

LOL! Yep same here - I've all got the various releases of Help too - did think the film script was cool though in the last DVD edition.

The Blu Ray arrived today - the missing scene is still missing and the interviews and extras have been directly lifted from the 2007 DVD!!! Don't buy it unless you specifically want a high-def version, although it's quite cheap at £13.99 on Amazon.
