I am so annoyed with myself. Just realised I did not post a notice commemerating Johnny Guitar Byrne birthday on the 4th of December. He would have been 82 years old this year. Keep on Rocking Sir. That's ok pothos, Rory, Johnny, and Ty, are all looking down and smiling!

May I wish a certain Mr Rory Storm a Happy 84th Birthday. Gone but never forgotten. It has been something very special to learn about you and your career and to make so many lovely friends along the way. Rock on Rory.

Iris Caldwell has posted this lovely image of a ring that Rory wore. So kind of her to do it.

I wanted so much to report of Ty's passing away on the 55th anniversary, but totally forgot until today. But I see pothos posted a pic of Rory's ring on the day Ty passed away! So R I P Ty (also I want to say that Ty did not die on stage like so many articles have reported, but was at his home and was taken to the hospital where he passed away - pg 130 of Anthony Hogan's book)

Rocky my memory is so bad these days I was going to post ablut Ty and then other things got in the way. I am a poor excuse for a fan.
I wish I could get Dr Who's Tardis and bring both Ty and Rory to the modern day for treatment for their health issues.
So to Ty thank you for everything and hope that you Rory and Johnny are still lighting up the stage.

Such tragic news. Walter Louis Eymond / Lou Walters has passed away at the age of 84 years. I actually feel devastated and now this leaves only Ringo as one of the original members of Rory Storm and the Hurricannes.
Sleep well Sir and rock on with your friends.
With deep affection.

It is 50 years since we lost Rory and his mother Violet. Rest in peace and hope that you are up there playing fantastic gigs with your mates. Thank you for everything. Shine on for eternity Rory.

What guitars are Johnny and Lou playing. Of course Johnny is using his Guyatone LG50, He used and had that guitar his whole life. Lou's guitar was an old bass that Anthony found Lou had given or sold to a friend who still has it.

Thank you I can never work out guitars. I think I can tell the differnet sounds they make but it is a blind spot for me. They are wonders of engineering.
