'Nothing Is Real?'
Them Beatles are not a "cover band", neither are they simply a "tribute act". They are a visual and aural celebration of the music, charisma and energy of The Beatles. Them Beatles follow a successful year of Theatre, Festival and TV appearances and invite you along into 2011 with a brand new Theatre Show!
The show offers the audience a chance to witness a concert experience transformation of The Beatles throughout their career. From the “Cavern Club” to the mind bending psychedelic period - featuring superbly detailed handmade Sgt. Pepper costumes, through to the "Apple Years" and final “Rooftop concert”, all performed live on authentic instruments and amplification just like that used by The Beatles.
Them Beatles are as comfortable delivering a 4 act stage show to a theatre audience as they are delivering a high octane rock & roll review of The Beatles career, as evidenced when they closed the recent ATP: Bowlie 2 festival to 5000 ecstatic music fans at the invitation of celebrity fans Belle & Sebastian. Other notable events include a summer residency at Blackpool North Pier Theatre, a sell out Christmas Show at Glasgow's ABC and A Hard Days Night: Live- a film screening and the boys performing the album live.
Them Beatles are Clark Gilmour (John Lennon), Joe Kane (Paul McCartney), Craig McGown (George Harrison) and Grahame Critcher (Ringo Starr).
The four boys in this band share a mutual obsession with The Beatles. Every detail is researched extensively. Sounds a bit exhausting? For the band it could not be more of a pleasure. Watch them for 30 seconds and you will see, hear and feel the dedication they put into their roles.
The success of The Beatles can be put down to many factors but possibly the most important of all is the unique chemistry the band shared creating a "charismatic powerhouse". Them Beatles come close to matching this with a superior mix of charisma, showmanship, wit and of course musicianship that will have you struggling to believe your eyes and ears.
Join us in 2011 for the new Beatles show that the UK is talking about and expericence the trip of a lifetime! 'Nothing Is Real!'
