A review of the new Macca triple DVD from much-respected Beatle aficionado, Pete Nash:
"Just got the new Macca DVD set "The McCartney Years"...once again a wasted opportunity.
This is a THREE DVD set and yet does NOT include all of his promo's: 'Mary Had A Little Lamb' is missing, 'Baby's Request' is the only one from "Back To The Egg", 'We All Stand Together' ain't on it...plus several songs that had more than one promo film only includes one version...
The concert DVD is even worse with EXTREMELY edited versions of "Rockshow", "Unplugged" and "Glastonbury" - totally pointless!!
No "James Paul McCartney" and no "One Hand Clapping" included...
Why do other artists have great DVD releases and yet we always get something half-baked?
Looks like you still need the bootlegs then...
Pete"
