In the same way that you can post YouTube videos in your topics, you can now post Audio (.mp3 .wav .mid) and video (.mpe4g .avi .mov .wmv) links!!!! I think that this makes The Beatle Forum absolutely unique!! Here's how it works.... After you click "new thread" you will note that next to the YouTube button there are two new buttons: = AUDIO BUTTON = VIDEO BUTTON Click one of the buttons and enter the link to the audio or video file like this: [music] enter the URL [/music]

Simple as that!! Give it a try!! IMPORTANT NOTE:Please only post links to existing audio or video on the web that others have already uploaded as it is illegal for you to upload copyrighted material.

I suggested it ages ago but a special string of code needs to be written which doesn't exist yet!

What some people do is upload a track to one of those websites and then post the link as described above. It is very easy apparently and because tracks are uploaded to these sites anonymously it is impossible to trace who's uploaded them!

So far I have only managed to find the YouTube mp3 file when using a browser called "Safari" - under "window" there is an option to view "activity" then you just do a search mp3 and voila - there's the file! So far I haven't managed to find any mp3 files using other means, not even when viewing the page source. But I'll keep trying! By the way, I've tested ripway.com/ and it'll work if you upload files to that.
