The pre-amble is complete. I am completing the reviews of the songs as we speak. With The Beatles is up and ready... just rush finished my review as I'm going on holiday to Crete late Weds evening, so please excuse the typos!! I'll correct them when I get home! I'm not going to read a word of yours until mine is up! Crete eh! My sister got back from there last week. She had a great time. Very hot though! 5 weeks to go for my idyllic Greek island holiday. Enjoy yours Al! Yammas!

Cheers mate - this time tomorrow I'll be sipping cocktails by the pool, or maybe even in it, thanks to the swim up bar! Hurry up with your review then, I wanna read it before I go! LOL

This is sort of a question, but I'm just curious why the forums aren't in caps. It looks fine, but I'm really curious.

Fascinating how 43 years after the split, the Beatles' body of work remains so vastly intriguing,it STILL highly warrants serious scrutiny and dutiful dissection.Let's see if they're talking about Lady Gaga this way decades from now!! Or Brittany Spears, Madonna, One Direction, Back Street Boys........ You get the picture.
Only other bands I can think of would be like Zeppelin or AC/DC and a few other Rock/Hard Rock acts!

Maybe Madonna. She's sort of an original.

Can I put forward the names Kate Bush, Paul Simon, Peter Gabriel, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Julian Cope, Scott Walker, Robert Plant's solo work, and oddly enough Abba (pop that actually was of an amazing quality later period is really good)
What defines The Beatles is that they were fearless musically and creatively. I think it was about what the possibilities were and they could adapt to any genre effortlessly.

This is sort of a question, but I'm just curious why the forums aren't in caps. It looks fine, but I'm really curious. I set it up with a retro-appearance to match as closely as possible the look of their early albums (hence all the yellow and black Parlophone logos) - also check out the With The Beatle sleeve in particular and the font that's used on most of their album sleeves to indicate "mono" or "stereo". AL Aha, that explains it. Thanks! One other thing: What if there was a sub-forum on the John Lennon forum called "In Memory of John", where you can talk about how sad his death was, what you loved about him, and leave the John Lennon board for his works? Just wanted your thoughts on it.
