The soundtrack album to A Hard Days Night defines the Beatles during the early 60's more than Please Please & With The Beatles. Tracks like I'll Cry Instead, Tell Me Why, And I Love Her & I Should Have Known Better are masterpieces in their own right above anything on WTB. When I think of the band at the height of Beatlemania in those days. It's their classic movie & this classic album that defines them for me more than their first appearance on Ed Sullivan.

It certainly is a defining album and movie - still one of my favourites (if you couldn't guess!!!).

The largest contribution from John Lennon on any album.

And we're happy to hear George sing lead only once and Ringo not at all!

"A Hard Days Night" is for me, the best ever Pop album.

It love the way both sides open - A Hard Day's Night with that strident chord, and Anytime At All with the world's loudest snare drum! They knew what they were doing!
