Since It's All Too Much is the famous Beatles song, I'm afraid the time lengths of the mono and stereo versions don't match.

I purpose we'll all have a talk. You see, It's All Too Much is part of The Beatles' Yellow Submarine movie.

Why is this so important to you? It's no great mystery. Before the track got to the mono mixing stage it is very likely it carried on for a lot longer. There is a lot of improvisation in the track so it had to be edited/faded somewhere. I haven't checked my reference books on this but it is also likely that both George's were present for the mono mix and then what tended to happen was when the stereo mix was done on another day it was left to other engineers as stereo at that time was not yet considered a serious format for the general public. So when the stereo mix was carried out it was edited/faded out differently. It appears for the stereo mixes the engineers were mostly left to their own devices.
This is the reason there are both mono and stereo mixes of Help and Rubber Soul on the mono box set with 1987 George Martin remix on the mono set and the 1965 stereo mix on the stereo set. I digress from your thread but you get my point.
I haven't checked all this out with It's All Too Much but I am sure this is the case. Do you have another take on this?

Since you are so interested in Beatles songs which have been released in different versions, I would recommend a visit to this great site ... www.columbia.edu/~brennan/beatles/var-index.htmlAll the info you could possibly need is there for I'll Cry Instead, Penny Lane, It's All Too Much and all those other threads that are just waiting to happen. ;)
