Ah yeah, I've seen them - they have been going for years! I think they may even have provided the music to the film "Birth Of The Beatles".

Talking of The Birth of The Beatles, any idea where I can buy a copy on DVD from? It proves impossible to get on the internet and I could only find one place in the states that does a copy of it but that works out expensive.

Did it ever get released on DVD? I'm not sure it did. If you have it on video, I can copy it to DVD for you.

www.thevideobeat.com (check it out, some interesting stuff here) where selling it but I have just checked again and they no longer have it stocked (oddly it remains in my shopping basket!) Slightly off the subject, I got The Who live at Kilburn last week on Blue Ray. It's fantastic, although admittedly their performance is a bit ropey hence they re-shot Baba O'Reilly and Won't Get Fooled Again for The Kids Are Alright film. I know you are a big Who fan Al, just wondered if you had it yet?

Nope, haven't got that yet Si! Definitely on my list though! I saw The Overtures over Christmas, I know you're no their biggest fan but Kenny Jones was also in the audience, and he jumped up on-stage and did All Or Nothing with them... I seriously nearly screamed!!!! LOL

Like I have said previously; The Overtures - great for your Christmas Parties, Ruby Wedding anniversaries, Barmitzvah's oh and 40th birthdays!!

The fact that I was in the presence of a "Small Face" was enough for me! I was actually talking to Den of the Overtures before the gig, who is a HUGE Small Faces fan, and he was as excited as me about Kenny Jones being in the room!!!

It sounds like you still haven't come down from the experience!! Funny, I never felt the same when I saw Pete Best play! Seriously, your thoughts on Kenny Jones in the Who?

BIG boots to fill - in my opinion, Keith Moon was irreplaceable.

Oh I saw Rain a couple of weeks ago! Fantastic! I've been chatting with Joe, their Ringo (who also drums as Keith Moon for Live the Who...he's really good) and we've had a nice time getting to know each other. He found me spilling about how much I enjoyed Rain on the YouTube channel I'm a contributor for and we've been messaging back and forth. :]

I just saw Rain a few days ago in Tulsa, the day before Easter. I was in the nosebleeds, but it was a great show! I just LOVE their opening set with the arrows. I wish they could have just played the entire concert with that set, in those uniforms, LOL! They really sounded great. They didn't have their regular "Paul" though (Joey Curatolo) but the replacement was excellent!
Too bad I might have been arrested if I ran onstage, wrapped my arms around him and started kissing him on the neck **sigh**...... Only in my dreams....

I saw Rain on Saturday June 25th, 2011 and I loved it so much I cried. For the performance I was at (2pm mat) I saw Steve Landes as John, Graham Alexander as Paul, Joe Bithorn as George, and Joe Bologna as Ringo. They were amazing and I can't get over how much like Paul Graham sounds! And he is only 21!!
