Hi everyone, I'd like to introduce you to my band, Liveria. We're all Beatles' fans, so they are a big influence in our music. As I live in Argentina, the songs are in spanish, even though most of our cover songs are in english (many of them are from our fab four). You can listen to our entire 8 track Demo in: www.liveria.com.aror our facebook page: www.facebook.com/liveria.

At first, why not try and play The Cavern when it's not IBW? Take a look at The Cavern website and when you are ready email them links to songs / videos etc and maybe they will agree you can play there

I hope someday we could play in your land. It would be something so overwhelming. This is just me dreaming over another dream haha.

Perhaps you could put a Beatle set together and enter the competition in November. That way you can win the chance to play at the Cavern in Liverpool during BW.

There's a competitioin to play the Cavern? Got any further details? AL The Battle of the Beatles Bands is part of the Latin American Beatle Week each year - there's different categories but the overall winners get the prize Alix described, whilst the runners up get the invite without the airline tickets. Last years winners, The Greets, played IBW this year. The year before it was 4! and Merseybeat were the runners up. A lot of the great Latin-American bands we've got to see since the Buenos Aires Cavern opened have come through the competition. Rhian

It's just amazing, great quality. We performed in July, at the "own compositions" comepetition. Hopefully we'll do better next year!

There's a competitioin to play the Cavern? Got any further details? AL Alix and Rhian are spot on with the details there. Dios Salve A La Reina won it around 2002 - and we've not been able to get rid of them since

So.... is it a Beatle solely band competition? The Beatle bands competition is the one that takes you to liverpool. There are other categories such as beatle duettes and own compositions, but the prices are less significant.
