If, as I do, you have an open mind, and will give any form of music a listen to, have a look at 'Seasick Steve' (perhaps Al' would kindly put a video on from youtube). He is weird, but I love the stuff he does, it's a cross between The Blues, Skiffle, and dare I say it? Punk!! If you like 'clean-cut' music you will hate it, but if you like raw, honest, very basic, in your face music, you might just like it, I do!!!

Hi Ron. Good to have you here. Well, you're right about Seasick Steve being "a little different" The guy's a breath of fresh air. He appears not to give a shit by playing a guitar with 3 strings (because the other 3 snapped and weren't replaced!) and by using an old wooden box as a 'drum'! Personally, I think the music scene needs more characters like him. He's quite unique. The music is wonderful too. For those not familiar with him, you can read all about him on this link : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seasick_SteveAnd, by special request, here's one of the many clips from You Tube. Enjoy!

Good to be here. One of the reasons why I like this music is back in the 1970s I was on the Country scene. Some-thimes I played solo, just me, and an old acoustic guitar with a cheap pick-up on it, and I used to stamp on the stage in time with my music (I always play standing up). I used to go on when the Band were having a break, and I got to be booked a lot because the strange thing was that people used to find it easier to dance to what I was putting out then they did the Band!! most odd. To give an idea of what I sounded like (without the stamping) I will send Al' a song I wrote and recorded about a Month ago, it's much 'cleaner' then I played back then, but you will get a rough idea.

Will look forward to that Ron. I'm sure Al will do the biz and post your performance on here so we can all have a listen.
