Love hunter is a great album. Early Whitesnake where a hell of a band. When Coverdale sacked everyone and hired people in specifically for the American market then it all went downhill for me.
Personally I have absolutely no issues with this album cover. The snake looks happy!

I still own this as I had this bought for me when I was 5 years old.
This one just unsettles me.

There is a story behind this single cover. I bought this from my local record shop when I was 11/12 years old and as the norm back the assistant put the disc in a bag before I had a chance to look at it.
Back home I placed the disc on the K.I.T.C.H.E.N. table and went to put the rest of my things away before playing the disc. My Mum then proceeded to open the bag and was greeted by what you can see is the peace sign. Mam in her shock at being greeted by two paper fingers emerging from a vinyl single cover gets the wrong idea ad think she has just been abused by the vulgar two fingered salute.
I have my records confiscated, pocket money stopped, I am grounded for what seemed like weeks even though I had no idea what had happened. It was months before things were sorted out.
Oh the indignity.

Does no one from the graphic departments ever think that these covers are odd.

Some of these sleeves are quite alarming but over all it seems to me that all those 'Jesus' sleeves are the most disturbing.

Hey don't laugh I have that CD! lol Actually it should have been called the Wiggin's. Dorothy on lead, Betty on rhythm, Helen on drums and little Rachel (not pictured) on bass on just that one song (the video). They had sort of a cult following in 1969.

Enjoy Oh god, what did I just listen to? Sounds like someone signing random lyrics as a band (loosely speaking) tune their instruments... and then decide against tuning up altogether.

Frank Zappa said one time in an interview that "The Shaggs were better than The Beatles."
