Trying to figure out a MTB pressing that recently became acquired. What I know.
Mono All ascap designations except BMI for I want to hold your hand Capitol Records black center. No subsidiary company mentioning Original blue sleeve What seems like a “glossy” rainbow band around black center with song listings
Any help is appreciated for this newbie.

Was the blue sleeve a plain blue, or did it have ads for other Capitol albums?
I once received as a gift an album released on Capitol in the late '50s. It still had the original, unopened cellophane wrapper. When I opened the cellophane, the inner sleeve had ads for Yesterday and Today, Revolver, the Beach Boys's Pet Sounds, and Beach Boys Party, among other LPs. This indicated a pressing from some time in 1966.
I don't know when Capitol used blue sleeves.
