I remember getting up for school and the news was full of John's death. I was 13 and The Beatles were this iconic band and Radio 1 had had one of the last interviews. The dreadful events just shocked me. Utterly devastating and a pointless crime. RIP John.
What always cracks me up in the video I put up is the audience. Here you have the bigwigs and their wives who most of them could care less what was going on stage and probably were clueless at the words in the song John was singing. While outside that hall in the blistering cold were probably just as many eager fans that would never even get the chance to see their idol that night.
Fiendish Thingy: Thanks Bobber. I'm good thanks. Quiet on here for the last few months. I see Al has gone all 'Facebook' and is attracting new members. No bad thing. Are you going to the annual Beatleweek in Liverpool this year? Not long now 10 weeks or so. See you there?

Bobber: Not sure. It's an expensive trip for me plus I'm starting a new job around that time.

Amadeus: Hey all. Not been frequenting here very much lately. Between burying people, helping sick people and feeling crap myself, Me and Mrs. A. have been weighed under. Hoping to get a bit more out of that rut so I can focus back on the fun things I used to focus
