Sky arts had a lot of Lennon stuff on at the weekend. As much as all four individual Beatles have released some great stuff as solo artists over the years , nothing in my opinion reaches the standard of when they were Beatles. The only album i have of Lennon was the compilation , Shaved Fish which is great. So i've never owned Imagine but decided to record The Imagine documentary which is part surreal and half fiction but also shows Lennon recording . I'm really struggling with it. I've still not finished watching this which is not a good sign , i found on some it i was fast forwarding, i found Yoko's bits really annoying, and yes there some good songs on this , Jealous Guy is a stand out , Imagine has been played to death, i've yet to get to How Do You Sleep which saddens me that George played on this and the song is so mean spirited . I certainly will not be forking out for this album and especially the 7 discs version . Has anyone else watched this documentary and do people rate this album highly? www.sky.com/watch/title/programme/862d70e2-e105-46a1-b864-1eb4f77e381b/john-lennon-imagine-862d70e2-e105-46a1-b

If you had seen the Let It Be Movie when it came out in the theaters (as I did) you would understand why George participated in "How Do You Sleep." While working on the song "I've Got a Feeling" Paul chews George out for unbending the guitar string too quickly. This humiliating scene (for George) was left in the movie for all to see.
But no, I haven't seen the Imagine documentary.
