It was his doing God period. I must confess , he's one of these artists that i'd love to appreciate more but usually prefer other people covering his songs. I come to music primarily on melody first and the lyrics second. I love Bryan Ferry's version of Hard Rain's gonna fall which i've played many times on youtube with lyrics, wow what amazing lyrics they are, he's some poet(no news there for true fans. I only watched a few minutes of last nights programme but recorded the next programme "Sings Bob Dylan " which will have good covers but i also enjoy terrible covers too like this one from "Sings Beatles".

When he fell off his motorcycle he died for me. Although I have everything he ever did. I liked him more as a human being than as a performer.

I`ve Dylan twice Live in the 80` and the 90`s Both times he was poor . I watched my recording of Sings Bob Dylan (part 2) i think we will be in general agreement that these two performances are the definitive versions of Mr Tambourine Man and Blowing in the wind ha ha .
